The Power of Introverts

If you have 20 minutes to spare I highly recommend this video. It’s a TED Talk that I love, presented by Susan Cain. A lot of people who meet me are surprised to find out that I’m an introvert, but once you get to know me you’ll realise how true it is. πŸ™‚ However, as Susan tells us, being an introvert has its own kind of power:

In a culture where being social and outgoing are prized above all else, it can be difficult, even shameful, to be an introvert. But, as Susan Cain argues in this passionate talk, introverts bring extraordinary talents and abilities to the world, and should be encouraged and celebrated.

She also wrote a book on the subject.

Funny story about how I, too, am an introvert and many people are surprised. People who know me well are well acquainted with the fact, though! <3

Thank you so much for sharing this with us! It was really worth my time. πŸ™‚

    Bravissima!

  4. I found Susan Cain a couple months ago! I love this. So sick of introverts (like me) being looked at like they’re less socially adept.
