So many ‘firsts’

You might think that once you have an agent and a book deal; once you’ve written a sequel for the first time; once you’ve published more than one book; done your first school event; your first book signing… You might think that there are no more ‘firsts’ left to someone who has been published a few times.

But you’d be wrong!

Behold… my first hardback book:

My author copies for The Iron Witch arrived from Newton Compton in Italy, and they are beautiful hardcovers – with a dust jacket and everything! I got a bit excited, I have to admit. 😉

And the book even has a little page on their website: look!!

*is very happy*
