Teaser Tuesday & Updates

The Wood Queen will be out in just under two months in the US, UK and Australia (help!!), so in honour of this I posted a snippet at the Deadline Dames. Lots of people seem to want more Xan hotness, so this teaser is for you! 😉

In other news, I am busy writing The Stone Demon after getting behind schedule due to the Rewrite of Doom(tm) on Moth’s book and then being ill for ages. (Note to self: remember to factor in Emergency Situations in future.) My Christmas shopping is way behind, too, and really I think most of my family are going to be getting gift vouchers this year… But, that’s okay, right? My mum very kindly told me that she loves getting gift cards/vouchers, but I’m wondering if she was just saying that to make me feel better.

I have added an Appearances page to the website, which makes me feel all official. Heh. But I do have an Iron Witch booksigning this Saturday (17th December) at Waterstone’s in Aylesbury, so check out the details and please come along so I’m not sitting there for hours all alone. Um… did I say please? I will have chocolates and other goodies with me to bribe innocent book shoppers. Hopefully I’ll see a few people there!

I want chocolate, goodies & a signed book too! 🙁
Ah well, have fun for me too, okay? I loved the snippet! Fantastic.

Merry Christmas everybody! I’m going to be away for Christmas this year, visiting family in Brazil, and I’m leaving on Friday, so I won’t be around for a little while. I hope the book signing is fun! I’ve never really been to a book signing before, which makes me sad. 🙁 You should come to Boston sometime! 😉

Have a wonderful Christmas with your family, Isabel.

One day I’d love to go to Boston again. Even if I didn’t do a signing there, I could just wander around and enjoy the city. <3

      Take care!
