The Iron Witch in the UK!
Kaz jumping for joy...
So, I have some news. It’s pretty good news. The subject-heading of this blog post might give it away… (ya think?)
Anyway! The always awesome Miriam Kriss and Foreign Rights Superstar Heather Baror have sold THE IRON WITCH and THE WOOD QUEEN to Random House Childrens Books. To say I’m happy – and, just possibly, jumping for joy right now – is something of an understatement. I’ve only known this since last week, so at least I haven’t had to sit on it for too long… 
I don’t have any other details – i.e. release dates, etc. – but I should be having lunch (srsly! *g*) with the publisher soon and will hopefully be able to share more then. I’m so excited! Dudes, I’ll be able to see TIW in shops over here! Like in all the branches of Waterstone’s and other chains, not just the (wonderful) indies – which is how things would’ve been if we hadn’t sold UK rights. *happy sigh* I’m grateful for this opportunity, though, and am determined to make the most of it.
